*RUBARB took a crew to the zoo for the "Poetry Debut"--  poetry was installed all around the zoo, right by the various exhibits and animals.  We strolled around, watched the creatures, pet some animals, and played in a torrential downpour.  Thanks to the New Orleans Public LIbrary for the free tickets!
 
*3 RUBARB kids got to experience the 1st annual bike rodeo, which taught them about bike safety, hand signals, and road signs.  A bicycle 2nd line passed us by and we ended the day with natural frozen pops at the Crescent City Farmers Market.  yum!

*friends from SIBLEY BIKE DEPOT in st paul, minn. came down with a penske truck full of bikes to scatter around to us and plan b!  we each got about 65 bikes and we've been fixing them up to raise money for RUBARB.  thanks to the folks at SIBLEY!

*end of the day bike rides are coming back and in full effect...

*a visting group came and did some painting projects with the kids, and they planted flowers around the shop to help beautify it. 
*happy EARTH DAY!
