*Books on Wheels from Richmond, VA paid RUBARB a visit for the 2nd year in a row. They donated about a dozen kids bikes... thanks Books on Wheels!!

*RUBARB was awarded 12 tickets to Jazzfest this year! Every year the Jazzand Heritage Foundation awards tickets to various groups around the city.RUBARB plans on taking some youth and experiencing the legendary festival.

*RUBARB was invited once again to EARTHFEST at the Audubon Zoo. 11 youthand 3 adults represented RUBARB and tabled with flyers, flat fixingmaterials, tools and more. We got to go around and learn about all theeco-friendly orgs in New Orleans and also explored the zoo.

*the RUBARB afterschool program at Arthur Ashe ended its 1st quarter andwas a big success! Kids learned how to fix flats, overhaul wheels andbottom brackets, did art projects and talked about bike safety. We can'twait for next quarter to do it again!
