*lani & torrey attended the Sankofa Marketplace event in the lower 9th ward... they demonstrated flat fixing and torrey presented one of his many creative bikes at the youth tent. rubarb plans to attend again next month!

*changes have been made at rubarb-- we now have a sign-in sheet for all who come in and a front desk/greeting area. reorganization! progress!

*several plan B members attended the BIKE!BIKE! conference in san fran at the end of sept. http://www.bikebike.org/ unfortunately no rubarbians were able to attend, but plan b'ers reported it was really helpful and informative and have been inspired with all sorts of new ideas.

*sopo bikes of atlanta will host a regional BIKE!BIKE! conference at the end of january.   http://southeast.bikebike.org/ hopefully several rubarbians will be able to attend.
