* RUBARB participated in EARTHFEST again at the zoo, for the 3rd year in a row!  a crew of rubarbians represented the bike shop while tabling at the event, and also got to explore the amazing exhibits at the audubon zoo.  goooooo team!

*2 RUBARB members roadtripped up to Louisville, KY for bike bike! southeast, a regional gathering of community bike shop folks.  not only was it very informational with lots of ideas being shared, but they got to explore the city and meet all sorts of fun people.  rubarb represent! 

*we finally got approved for 501c3 status, we are an official non-profit now! 

* new shops hours!  we've changed our monday hours to be from 12-4 (instead of 10-2).

*the new HBO show --TREME--  will feature a double dutch girl jumping rope outside RUBARB during our 2008 holiday party.  this will be about a 3 second clip at the beginning of each episode... we'll be famous!
