Due to the current situation, we will be postponing the fundraiser until further notice.  Please feel free to still donate if you can, as we are an all volunteer operation that relies on the community to stay open!

Or you can send a check or money order.
Please make them payable to RUBARB and send to:
1652 N Tonti St
New Orleans LA 70119
As always, thank you for all your support!

RUBARB is offering up a "bike shop starter grant" which would allow some folks to apply to get money, tools, assistance to start another community bike shop in town!

Thank you for your support!

TorryVolunteers began RUBARB in March 2006, after collecting heaps of unused flood bikes, pulling them from garbage piles in the streets, and fixing them up for both residents and volunteers. Bikes that would have otherwise been sent to a dump of Post Katrina rubbish, are now being reused by many people in New Orleans. RUBARB has evolved into a full scale upper 9th ward community bike shop. A shop which began with programs such as bike lending, and bike building workshops has now become RUBARB.

 RUBARB is a tax exempt 501c(3) with id# 26-455931.
